Happy Endings
One week ago, I wrote about this sad '74 Dodge Challenger at the CEFCU repo lot in East Peoria. Well butter my biscuits if we didn't come across that very car looking sharp at the Central Illinois Cruisers cruise-in at the Metro Centre last night. The car sported temporary plates, so I'm assuming its now happily resting in a new owner's garage and receiving plenty of premium fuel and TLC.
Uncaged, this car is more of a looker than originally thought. The paint and bodywork are done right and the interior is clean as well. And while someone out there in Moparland got their pride & joy repossessed, the silver lining is another person is able to enjoy and preserve a cool muscle car. Someone got a pretty sweet deal on a nice big-block Challenger that needs very little work, and everyone lived happily ever after.
